St. George Jacobite Syrian Church, Cochin, India

Thabeetha Center started functioning on 15th Aug 2006. In a well attended public meeting in the Thabeetha premises H G Mor Aprem Mathews metropolitan inaugurated the functioning of the center. Also were present the local MLA Sri M.J Jacob, the Panchayat President Mr. E V Thankkappan, Members of the District, Block and Grama Panchayat. The meeting was also attended by the vicars, the trustees and managing committee members of the cathedral. The president welcomed the gathering, Rev.Fr P P Joseph Nadappuzha the former vicar and senior priest gave a description about the geography and history of the place and Mr. P A David the secretary of charity services proposed to the vote of thanks.

From the same day onwards inmates have been admitted and the staff took charge of the center. The center is frequently visited by the members of the parish and the well being of the inmates is being looked after. Humbly submitting before lord almighty we work for the betterment of the center.
